New Attack on Odesa: Consequences and Response
This article discusses the aftermath of the attack on Odesa and the efforts of municipal services to address the damage.
Last week, under the initiative «Donor Odesa», a mobile blood donation event was held at City Clinical Hospital No. 1, organized by the Odesa Regional Blood Transfusion Station.
Approximately 30 staff members and visitors to the hospital participated in the blood donation drive. The team at City Clinical Hospital No. 1 has frequently engaged in blood donation efforts, both within the facility and as part of the ongoing citywide campaign «Donate Blood — Save Lives».
The demand for donor blood remains critically high since the onset of the full-scale war. Blood is urgently needed to save the lives of injured defenders of Ukraine and other patients.
Any interested organization can arrange a mobile blood donation event at their premises. Here’s how to do it:
1. Gather a group of 25-50 interested donors. Ensure potential donors do not have absolute contraindications or temporary restrictions for blood donation.
2. Coordinate a convenient date by calling 0668422387 or messaging on Telegram @donorodesa
3. Prior to the donation, it is essential to follow specific dietary guidelines and avoid certain medications.
