CDTO Campus Partners with GGTC Berlin for Digital Transformation

CDTO Campus has signed a memorandum with the Global Government Technology Centre (Berlin). This partnership aims to share expertise in digital transformation and develop joint initiatives.

The training programs of CDTO Campus will play a crucial role in preparing digital leaders in Germany. GovTech Campus Deutschland, along with TUM Think Tank, will integrate Ukrainian experience into its educational system for training German specialists in digitalization.

Additionally, the memorandum signed by Halyna Pustova, director of CDTO Campus, Viktor Lyakh, president of the Eastern Europe Foundation, and Manuel Kilian, managing director of GGTC Berlin, outlines close cooperation in digital security and protection of public services. Ukraine will share unique cybersecurity solutions, including experiences in transitioning public services to the cloud, implementing digital documents, and resilience mechanisms against cyberattacks.

Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, also attended the event.

It is worth noting that CDTO Campus is a national educational project aimed at training CDTOs (Chief Digital Transformation Officers), a new type of civil servants and public sector professionals to implement innovative projects in public administration, provide services to citizens, and enhance the overall digitalization of the country.

In 2024, CDTO Campus plans to train 440 digital transformation leaders and launch 12 programs, some in collaboration with leading companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Apolitical, and other international partners.

CDTO Campus is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by the Visa Foundation, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), and supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in cooperation with Digitality GovTech Centre of Excellence, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
