A tragic incident occurred in the Primorsky district of Odesa. The body of a woman was found beneath a transformer substation. This was reported by the emergency services press office.

The event took place on the evening of June 29 on Bernardazzi Street. Underground electrical cables caught fire in the transformer substation. Firefighters promptly extinguished the blaze.

"Unfortunately, at the fire scene, the body of a woman was discovered in the shaft under the transformer (identity is being established), who reportedly died from an electric shock. Two units of equipment and eight firefighters were involved from the emergency services," the statement noted.
