An official from one of Odessa's municipal enterprises was arrested for demanding a bribe of $2700 for issuing a permit for temporary trade structures. A businesswoman who sought assistance reported the illegal demands, leading law enforcement to document the criminal activities.

The arrest occurred during the receipt of the bribe, with police confiscating the money as evidence.

The official has been charged under part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. If found guilty, he faces up to 10 years in prison and asset confiscation.

The court has ordered pre-trial detention with the possibility of bail set at 242,240 UAH.

Investigative actions are ongoing, and law enforcement is working to identify other individuals potentially involved in the crime.
