Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, the number of people requiring comprehensive rehabilitation has been on the rise. Rehabilitation is necessary after surgeries, injuries, prolonged treatment, or illnesses. The National Health Service of Ukraine reminds everyone that free outpatient rehabilitation assistance is available to all, regardless of their residence or registration.

The medical guarantee program includes free rehabilitation services under the package «Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Outpatient Settings». Internally displaced persons can choose any healthcare facility in Kyiv that has a contract with the NHSU for providing this service. However, before visiting, an electronic referral must be obtained from a family or treating physician (including those in physical and rehabilitation medicine).

If a rehabilitation facility requests payment for services covered by the Medical Guarantee Program or asks for a charitable contribution, it is a violation of patient rights and the terms of the NHSU contract with the medical institution. In such cases, you should submit a complaint regarding the violation:
