Honoring Journalist Victoria Roschina
President Zelensky awarded journalist Victoria Roschina the Order of Freedom posthumously for her courage and truth.
This week, medical staff from the Primary Health Care Center No. 16 carried out a mobile vaccination campaign against diphtheria and tetanus for employees of Odesa Bread Factory No. 4.
A total of 75 factory workers received the vaccine.
The Odesa City Health Department continues to actively promote additional vaccinations against whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus as part of a plan initiated by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to ensure epidemic safety.
Currently, approximately 84% of children eligible for vaccinations under the additional immunization plan have been vaccinated. Vaccinations against diphtheria and tetanus are necessary not only for children but also for adults, who should receive booster shots every 10 years for ongoing protection against these dangerous diseases.
In wartime, ensuring vaccination coverage among the population is a matter of national security and public health.
The City Health Department reminds that free mobile vaccination against diphtheria and tetanus can be organized for organized groups.
Qualified healthcare professionals perform the vaccinations, and all vaccines are certified for quality, stored, and transported under proper temperature conditions.
Any groups interested in organizing vaccinations against diphtheria and tetanus can fill out the registration form or contact the Health Department via email at dep.oz@omr.gov.ua or by phone at (048) 753 14 36, (048) 753 15 75.
