Urgent Appeal: The Fate of Sailors from the 'Stanislav'
The Ukrainian Navy is seeking help to find four missing sailors from the 'Stanislav' vessel.
Last week, with the support of the initiative «Donor Odessa» and the administration of the children's clinical hospital No. 3, a significant blood donation campaign was held to assist the injured defenders of Ukraine. Medical staff from the Odessa regional blood transfusion station facilitated the mobile donations.
Over two days, hospital staff from the children's departments in the Kyiv and Peresyp districts of Odessa donated blood. On the second day of the event, employees from the Primary Health Care Center No. 5 and the Consultative Diagnostic Center No. 29 also participated in the donation. In total, around 50 donors contributed, saving dozens of lives.
The demand for donor blood has remained extremely high since the onset of the full-scale war. Currently, blood is vital for rescuing both military and civilian patients.
Anyone interested can organize a mobile blood donation in their own workplace. Here’s what you need to do:
1. Gather a group of 25-50 individuals willing to donate blood. Ensure potential donors do not have absolute contraindications or temporary restrictions to blood donation.
2. Arrange a convenient date by calling 0668422387 or messaging on Telegram @donorodesa.
3. Adhere to certain dietary restrictions and medication guidelines prior to the blood donation.
