On March 9, a cultural event titled «Exchange a Poem for a Candy» took place in Shevchenko Park, Odessa, organized by the public organization «Defense of the State». This celebration was dedicated to the birthday of the famous Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. Participants recited his poems and received sweet rewards.

The event attracted people of all ages, allowing them to enjoy Shevchenko's literary works. Both adults and children actively participated, reciting poems and sharing their impressions.

Everyone who recited lines from the Kobzar received a box of candies as a gift. The organizers noted that the event generated significant interest among the residents of Odessa, with dozens of people taking part.
