Over the past week, representatives of the public organization «Barrier-Free» visited educational institutions in Odessa, conducting a series of events focused on the theme of “Accessibility”.
The meetings aimed to raise students' awareness of the importance of barrier-free environments and foster a tolerant attitude towards people with disabilities.
During the events, students were informed that accessibility is an integral part of society, where everyone should feel comfortable regardless of gender, age, or physical differences, and where equal rights and opportunities are provided to all.
Interactive lectures, workshops, and role-playing games were conducted as part of the events, helping participants understand the barriers faced by people with disabilities and learn to interact effectively with them.
Additionally, the guests shared information about initiatives already implemented in our city to improve conditions for inclusive practices.
The events were conducted to cultivate sensitivity, compassion, humanity, tolerance, mutual respect, and concern among students.
