Celebrating Healthcare Workers in Odesa: Medical Workers' Day

On the eve of Medical Workers' Day, Odesa held events dedicated to those who care for the health of the city's residents every day.

Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov addressed the medical community, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their efforts during challenging times:

“Odesa thanks each of you — for your dedication, professionalism, and care for patients.”

Despite the ongoing war, the city's healthcare system continues to evolve: new departments are opening, medical equipment is being updated, cutting-edge technologies are being implemented, and doctors are enhancing their qualifications.

This year, modern cardiology and surgical departments were opened at Hospital No. 11, while Children's Hospital No. 3 introduced powerful surgical, trauma, and endoscopic services.

Renovation work is ongoing at the infectious disease hospital and Hospital No. 1. Special attention is given to veteran rehabilitation and the development of adaptive sports.

The mayor emphasized that even in the toughest times, healthcare remains a priority for the authorities, and medical workers exemplify resilience, professionalism, and dignity.

On this professional holiday, the best healthcare workers in Odesa were awarded honorary distinctions.
