The World Summer Gymnasiad took place in the Serbian city of Zlatibor — one of the largest international sports events for school students worldwide.

Over 2400 athletes from 54 countries participated in the competitions.

Representing the Odessa region and Ukraine, student Bohdan Kazakov from Odessa Lyceum No. 72 (up to 48 kg) competed as part of the national wrestling team and earned a bronze medal, making a significant contribution to the team's overall performance.
