From April 23 to 27, 2025, the Ukrainian Cup in paddling was held in Uman, gathering around 400 athletes from 20 regions of the country.

Representing Odesa at the competition was Albina Yakobchuk, a student of the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery «Olympiets». Previously, Albina trained at the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 6 in Odesa.

As a result of the competition, the athlete secured the following medals:

C-4 500 m event – 1st place,

C-1 1000 m event – 2nd place.

The athlete was trained by coaches Ilya Fedorenko, Oleg Zhylkin, and Mykola Kravchuk.

There are a total of 115 athletes training in the paddling department of the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 6.
