Ukrainian Team's Performance at Euro-2025

The Ukrainian synchronized swimming team participated in the second final at Euro-2025 in Funchal, Portugal. The Ukrainians performed a duet in the free program.

Ukraine sent a squad of 10 swimmers and already made its mark in one of the finals: the duet of Daria Moshynska and Anastasia Shmonina finished 6th in the technical program.

What were the results in the free program?

  • Moshynska and Shmonina started ninth in the free program final. For artistry, the Ukrainian team scored 116.50 points, only behind the Spanish team, which won silver. For execution, they added 103.7899 points.
  • Overall, the Ukrainians earned 220.2899 points, which allowed them to hold the interim second place.
  • Despite five more duets performing after them, they couldn't maintain their podium position. Ultimately, the Ukrainian duet finished in 5th place, falling short of the podium by almost 17 points.
  • The European champions in the free program were the representatives of Italy, who surpassed the Spaniards by just 2.3 points.

  • France — 235.04 points
  • Ukraine — 220.28 points

The next competition involving the Ukrainians will be the team events in the technical program, scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, at 18:00. In addition to Ukraine, seven other teams will compete in the final.
