WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) has shared his thoughts on who he believes is the best boxer in the world.

According to the Ukrainian athlete, he does not consider himself the best, as that title belongs to Terence Crawford. The 37-year-old American was the undisputed world champion in the welterweight division in 2023 and has held the WBO, WBC, WBA-Super, and IBF belts over various years and weight classes.

In 2023-2024, Crawford was recognized as the best boxer in the world regardless of weight class by The Ring.

On September 13, Crawford will fight Saul Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast live on Netflix, and a special The Ring belt will be on the line.

As for Usyk, he will face Daniel Dubois at Wembley on July 19. The first encounter between the two boxers took place on August 26, 2023, in Wroclaw, where Usyk won by technical knockout in the 9th round.

Crawford had previously mentioned one of the Ukrainian boxers in his list of those he considers "elite".
