“Movement Without Barriers” in Odessa
Update on the progress of the 'Barrier-Free Movement' project in Odessa.
On the evening of August 7, the enemy launched a massive assault on Ukraine with 104 strike drones of the Shahed type, various imitator drones, and 8 fast-reacting drones. As a result, 82 targets were neutralized, although there were also hits.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Forces via Telegram.
According to the Air Forces: "As of 8:00 AM, air defense has shot down/neutralized 82 aerial targets: 3 reactive drones and 79 enemy Shahed drones and imitators detected in the north, south, east, and center of the country. 26 hits were registered at 10 locations, as well as debris falling in 8 locations".
The aggressor launched drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Shatalovo, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
