The Tragic Impact of War: Children at Risk

Since the onset of the large-scale war, 661 children have been killed, and over 2200 have been injured by Russian forces. This information was shared by Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko on Telegram.
On the 1342nd day of the war, prosecutors are investigating 5363 criminal cases related to these atrocities.
During this time, Russia has: killed 661 children; injured 2203 children; destroyed or damaged over 4500 schools, kindergartens, and 1294 hospitals; abducted and deported more than 19 thousand Ukrainian children; committed at least 23 cases of sexual violence against children, Kravchenko stated.
He emphasized that each case is evidence of a deliberate policy of terror aimed at annihilating Ukrainians as a nation.
The Attorney General pointed out that UN Security Council Resolution No. 1261 identifies six of the most serious crimes against children during wartime, and informed that Russia commits all six daily in Ukraine before the eyes of the world.
The head of the OGP stated that Ukrainian prosecutors, together with law enforcement agencies and international partners, are investigating every crime.
"We will do everything possible to bring all war criminals, from the perpetrators to the leadership of Russia, to justice. Time will not be an obstacle. These crimes have no statute of limitations," he declared.
