The Mayor of Odesa held an online meeting with Mr. Christian Dahlberg Hauge, the head of the Trondheim City Council.

He expressed gratitude to Ukraine's diplomatic bodies for their assistance in implementing the initiative of the Norwegian Ambassador regarding cooperation between the ports of both countries.

Mr. Dahlberg Hauge praised the Ukrainian people's resilience in bravely facing Russian aggression for three years and noted Norway's unwavering support.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the development of international relations between Odesa and Trondheim, focusing on cooperation in economic, energy, transport sectors, as well as in culture, education, and IT technologies.

Trondheim is the third-largest municipality in Norway and serves as the country's innovation and technology capital. It houses the largest university of science and technology in Norway and is a significant hub for land and maritime transport.
