Arrests in Odesa for Bribery Related to Fake Summons
Police in Odesa arrested officials suspected of bribery in connection with fake military summons.
The Mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, met with a French delegation led by the president of the Association Architecture et Maîtres d'Ouvrage (AMO), Mr. Martin Duplantier, head of the architectural firm Martin Duplantier Architectes.
During the discussion, projects that could be implemented with the support of the architectural bureau and the Association were considered. Notably, the focus was on medical and educational facilities, as well as cultural heritage.
"France has always been a steadfast friend of Odessa, and we are committed to supporting Ukraine during the war, as well as exploring further cooperation and investment opportunities in Odessa. Today, we are looking into restoration projects," Mr. Duplantier emphasized.
Hennadiy Trukhanov expressed gratitude for the attention to the city, highlighting that caring for children and creating conditions for their development is a priority.
"Unfortunately, the number of children who need special attention is increasing. Therefore, we need to create an institution where children with disabilities can receive medical and rehabilitation assistance, as well as education. Our team of specialists has developed proposals outlined in the "Swallow" project, - added the mayor.
Mr. Duplantier expressed confidence that, in cooperation with the French government and various European Union institutions, grant programs will be found to implement this important project.
