The 25th international technology exhibition CEATEC-2024 took place in Chiba, Japan.

This year, Ukrainian innovative companies are presenting their developments for the second time at Asia's largest technology event.

The delegation from Odesa showcased Ukrainian IT innovations at a unified booth.

The director of the "Odesa 5T Grant Office", Tamila Afanasieva, presented the achievements of the IT Family Odesa cluster and the Faculty of Cybersecurity of the International Humanitarian University.

The Odesa delegation also participated in the 13th Asia Smart City Conference held in Yokohama.

This conference brought together leading experts and innovators in urban development.

During their visit to Japan, the delegation met with the mayor of Yokohama, city council leadership, and the Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan.

Negotiations were also held with representatives of the Yokohama municipality, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the UN Development Program office.

In collaboration with Japanese companies such as Nippon Koei, JFE Engineering, and Sansei, key infrastructure projects for Odesa were discussed.

Additionally, talks were held with members of the Japanese National Commission for UNESCO regarding heritage preservation.

Japanese society expressed solidarity with the people of Ukraine in their quest for freedom and openness to cooperate with the Odesa community.
