Traffic Update During Port Renovation

Dear residents, the administration of seaports is currently undergoing renovations on the transport overpass at Odessa seaport. This phase of work necessitates temporary changes in traffic organization.

This was announced by the mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov.

From August 18 to September 1, we will temporarily close Gazovyi Lane within Primorska Street. To prevent traffic jams, vehicles will be allowed to travel along Primorska Street towards Chornomorske Kozatstvo, which was previously closed.

Additionally, we will alter the traffic scheme on Odaria Street—two-way traffic will be implemented during the renovation. This will allow drivers to bypass the closures quickly and conveniently.

From August 11 to December 31, we will permit freight transport to use Primorska Street from Chornomorske Kozatstvo to Viyiskyi Uzvoz. We will also designate a separate lane for left turns of freight vehicles into the port to ensure smooth traffic flow for other vehicles.

To avoid congestion, AMPU will implement a dispatch system, allowing for better coordination of traffic flow and minimizing delays.

Regarding public transport, trolleybus No. 10 and buses No. 110 and 190 will continue to operate unchanged. Alternative routes No. 105, 121, 145, 146, 168, 240, 242, and 250 will revert to their regular schedules due to the restored movement along Vitalii Blazhko Uzvoz.

We understand that any road changes can be inconvenient. However, thanks to coordinated efforts and a clear plan, these changes will be temporary and manageable.
