Mural Inauguration in Odesa on City Day
The ceremonial unveiling of a mural in Odesa dedicated to peace and safety in Ukraine.
Law enforcement officials are conducting educational activities in kindergartens, schools, and police departments. These take place in the form of games, lessons, and excursions.
Recently in Odesa and surrounding districts, police officers spoke with children about road safety rules, home safety, the dangers of explosive devices, and the manipulation by individuals promoting deviant behavior, as well as the police's role in combating crime.
Children learned to recognize traffic signs and signals, safely cross the road, and improve their visibility at night using reflective elements.
Officers also reminded that due to the war, dangerous items can be found anywhere. Such discoveries should never be touched; instead, it is crucial to report them to emergency services (101) or police (102).
Additionally, police emphasized the importance of following safety rules at home, such as not opening doors to strangers, and not playing with household chemicals, matches, or other harmful items.
Youngsters were informed about the risks of communicating with strangers. They were advised not to share personal information with outsiders and to firmly decline offers to engage in illegal activities for rewards.
Many interesting events were dedicated to introducing children to professions within law enforcement. Boys and girls learned about the daily duties of police officers, explored their technical equipment, participated in mock crime investigations, and asked specialists questions on various topics.
Such meetings foster respect for the law, teach responsibility, and aid in career choices.
