This year, the Historic Regatta in Venice will witness the participation of a crew of Ukrainian war veterans from Odessa, who were injured during combat.

This event became possible through the fruitful collaboration between the municipalities of Venice and Odessa, as well as the effective coordination by officials from both cities.

The participation of the Odessa team in the regatta symbolizes not only strong ties between the twin cities but also a powerful act of support, solidarity, and faith in the indomitable Ukrainian spirit.

This initiative continues the official partnership between Odessa and Venice, which was established with the signing of a twin city agreement.
