Commemoration of Heroes: Memorial Bell in Odesa
A ceremony honoring the fallen defenders of Ukraine was held at the 'Fighters for Ukraine' memorial.
On August 31, Odesa hosted impressive cycling competitions known as the Odesa Grand Prix, which have become a significant part of the city's cultural life.
This year, the Odesa Grand Prix attracted numerous cycling enthusiasts from various cities in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
The second day of the event featured a sprint championship, known for its intense competition and excitement.
Among the winners in different age categories were Odesa residents: Oleg Ivankov (Atlet CG), Andriy Pyrkh, Yuriy Anderson, Yuriy Smirnov, Andriy Hladkyi, Andriy Shvets, Serhiy Lychko, Hryhoriy Bayrak, Mykola Vakhrameiev, Vladislav Salnikov, Yuriy Smirnov (Project 13) and Hryhoriy Savenko.

The Odesa Grand Prix was first held in 1995 under a cup system. In 2007, the competition became national, and from 2015 to 2019, it held an international UCI category.
