Taekwondo Championships in Kolodenka

From November 1 to 3, the village of Kolodenka (Rivne region) hosted the Ukraine Championship and the open national tournament class A "Children of Ukraine XXV" in taekwondo (WTF).

This event served as a qualifier for the European Championship, scheduled in two weeks in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

140 athletes participated in the Ukraine Championship, while 465 taekwondo practitioners competed for awards in the open tournament.

Odesa athletes excelled, bringing home 6 medals from the championship.

The champions were Renata Podolyana and Maria Labuzova from the Olympic Sports School. Bronze medals were claimed by athletes from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 17: Oleksandr Labuzov, Olga Shvarts, Viktor Semanyuk, and Yulia Gamurar.

Odesa juniors and cadets showed impressive results in the open national tournament class A "Children of Ukraine XXV," winning 8 medals.

The tournament winners included Anastasia Volosenko, Zlata Volosenko, Danila Komarov, Daniil Modnov, and Matviy Lukashuk. Bronze medals were awarded to Ivan Cherevichny, Nazar Lukashuk, and Lina Yeremenko.

The athletes were trained by coaches Yuliya Podolyana and Viktor Semanyuk.

In Odesa, 178 athletes practice taekwondo (WTF) at the CYC No. 17 and CYC No. 7.
