Ukraine's 2026 Budget: Challenges and Forecast
An analysis of the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2026 considering an alternative scenario.
In celebration of World Science Day, the State University of Intelligent Technologies and Communication (SUITT) hosted the second Science Skills Booster SUITT - 2025 youth science and technology creativity exhibition.
Participants included both individuals and teams. The event was held in a hybrid format — both in-person and online. The initial selection phase took place throughout May, with the finals held on May 17.
The best projects were presented by students from various Odesa lyceums, including No. 49, 62, 72, 121, 122, "Marinsky", and students from the Professional College of Communication and Informatization of SUITT.
Participants showcased a diverse array of projects, including computer games, alternative messengers, innovative devices, and educational technical solutions. Among the standout projects were the «Smart Home» system, a smart solar panel with automatic orientation, and a power supply made from household items capable of functioning during blackouts.
The winners of the Science Skills Booster SUITT - 2025 youth science and technology creativity competition are:
Grand Prix of the competition (cash prize of 8,000 UAH from the general sponsor — the Ukrainian branch of ISOC) was awarded to the team «LUX» from Odesa Lyceum No. 62 for their innovative smart solar panel project.
First place — the project «ProtoFlex – a utility for creating individual VPN connections for specific applications» (author – Anatoliy Lakaraov, 11th grade student at Odesa Lyceum "Marinsky", scientific supervisors – computer science teachers Iryna Buz and Olena Lohina).
Second place was shared between the project «Pinger – a messenger for secure communication and data transfer» (author – Mykhailo Fasolia, 8th grade student at Odesa Lyceum “Marinsky”, scientific supervisors – computer science teachers Iryna Buz and Olena Lohina) and the development of «An Interactive Platform for Learning Programming Using Docker Containerization» (author – Bohdan Popravka, 9th grade student at Odesa Lyceum No. 72, scientific supervisor – computer science teacher Olena Kravchuk).
The winners received cash prizes from SUITT.
«Today we have once again proven that our youth has a clear vision for the future, is ready to work for the prosperity of the country, and impresses with innovative ideas,» concluded Yuriy Kargapolov, chairman of the Ukrainian ISOC.
