Southeast European Leaders Gather in Odesa

The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, along with the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, have arrived in Odesa to participate in the "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit.

According to the information on the Greek government website, Mitsotakis "is heading to Odesa to take part in the 4th "Ukraine – Southeast Europe" summit, which will be held on June 11."

The Croatian government’s press service confirmed that Plenković has arrived in Ukraine for the summit, though it did not specify the exact location. The previous summit took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The statement emphasized that this is the fourth visit of the Croatian Prime Minister to Ukraine since the onset of the full-scale war, during which Croatia has provided various forms of assistance to Ukraine totaling approximately €315 million, and has also granted temporary protection to 30,000 Ukrainian refugees.

The website of the President of Montenegro also reported that Milatović was invited to the summit taking place in Odesa. The announcement mentioned that Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov are also expected to attend.

Among the summit guests are also the new President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, and pro-Russian Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, marking his first visit to Ukraine.
