Recently, medical personnel in Odessa managed to revive a 54-year-old man who had entered clinical death.

This was reported by the Emergency Medical Center.

Paramedics responded swiftly, arriving at the scene in under 10 minutes. It turned out that the patient was suffering from severe bleeding from the mouth after an intravenous medication administration, leading to clinical death.

A relative, who is an anesthesia nurse, provided initial assistance by ensuring airway patency and establishing venous access before the team arrived.

Upon arrival, the team, consisting of doctor Vyacheslav Yuriyovych Dobrovichny, paramedic Kostiantyn Valeriyovych Baida, and medical technician Oleksandr Dmytrovych Podolyak, immediately initiated resuscitation efforts. They performed chest compressions, intubated the trachea, provided artificial ventilation, administered epinephrine, and infused crystalloids.

After 24 minutes of resuscitation, spontaneous circulation was restored, and the patient was transported to the 11th city hospital.

The team not only arrived promptly but also did everything possible to give the patient a chance at life, as emphasized by the doctors.
