The recent announcement of new features in the educational app "Mriya" does not raise concerns about user data security.
The Ministry of Digital Policy assures that no third party has access to the personal information of teachers, students, and their parents.
Social media users had expressed doubts regarding the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 177 that regulates the app's operations. The document mentions that various business entities and information systems may be "connected" to it.
The Ministry clarified that this refers to "Mriya" partners with whom they collaborate within defined parameters, as well as educational systems that can be technically integrated into the app.

However, the Ministry emphasized that partners do not have access to personal data.
"Business entities do not gain access to the app or its data. The resolution refers to the possibility of technical integration, for example, to display bonus information," the Ministry explained.
App developers noted that before joining the educational app, partners undergo verification, and their integration occurs solely through official procedures, adhering to information security requirements.
"No third party has access to the personal data of teachers, students, or their parents," the Ministry clarified.
It was also added that authorization in the app through BankID or "Diia" does not pose a risk of data leakage, as this information is neither stored nor transmitted upon login.
"All components of the "Mriya" ecosystem are created in accordance with current legislation and in compliance with the principles of protecting users' personal data," the Ministry concluded.
It is worth noting that testing of the app will begin in 40 schools in 2024, with the beta version of "Mriya" becoming available in September.
Through this app, students receive an ID card, the ability to complete tasks, view educational content, and plan their day.
Teachers can create electronic lesson plans, fill in grade books, assess students, and mark their attendance.
Additionally, the platform offers functionality for parents, allowing them to check their children's academic results, homework, and schedules.
