Young Champion from Odessa Claims Gold at European Youth Festival
Ilaria Turkan from Odessa has achieved victory at the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival, showcasing outstanding results.
On September 11th, Odesa hosted a mixed martial arts and KICKBOXING-PRO evening at the Red Line, organized by Ukrainian Fights Promotion with the support of the Odessa Regional Administration, honoring the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The event was announced by the organizer, the president of Ukrainian Fights Promotion, Oleksandr Hordienko.
At the beginning of the event, star host Anastasia Tsymbalaru and the country's main ring announcer, Serhiy Bryl, welcomed the guests. Following this, a video message from the commander of the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Brovdi Robert (Madyar), expressed gratitude to the organizers and wished success to the fighters in the octagon.
Peculiar guests at the opening included the first deputy head of the Odessa Regional Administration, Oleksandr Kharlov, president of the Ukrainian kickboxing federation Oleg Manzyuk, head of the charity fund “Modern Ukraine” Volodymyr Havrush, and representatives from business and sports.
The evening featured nine fierce battles, comprising five MMA bouts and four professional kickboxing matches, with participation from top fighters of Ukraine, including European and world champions.
The night was filled with exciting fights and spectacular knockouts.
Special guests included the band “Dubky,” who entertained the audience with their energetic hits.
From the command of the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Medvedev Vitaliy presented the organizers with a flag as a token of appreciation.
