In honor of Teacher's Day, educational institutions in Odesa held a traditional event called «Warm Wave», uniting educators, students, and families for charitable acts. 

Students along with their teachers organized fairs where they sold handmade items created with care by their families. 

The event was filled with a warm and sincere atmosphere, collecting a total of 2,156,360.42 UAH at the fair.

«I am grateful to the educators of Odesa, the children, and every family that participated in the fairs and contests, and of course to Natalia Kartasheva for supporting our defenders», said the head of the Department of Education and Science, Olena Buinevych. 

Funds were collected via «Monobank» and were later transferred to the account of the «Southern Shore» Charity Fund after the event concluded. 

«Today we have already received our first crucial orders - tourniquets and bandages. These items are directly related to saving lives», noted the fund representative Natalia Kartasheva.

A tourniquet is an essential tool for stopping critical bleeding in field conditions. It applies pressure to the damaged vessel, effectively halting both venous and arterial bleeding, especially after wound dressing.
