Empowering Teens Against Online Manipulation

Today's teenagers are constantly influenced by social media, often unaware that much of the content they encounter consists of manipulations or falsehoods.

A free online course focusing on information hygiene has been created in Ukraine to assist children in safeguarding themselves on the internet.

The training resembles a computer game featuring vibrant characters, quests, and rewards. It can be accessed via computers, tablets, or smartphones. After completion, users can revisit lessons or retake tasks at any time.

The course creators include information field researcher, educator, and author of the book 'How Not to Be a Vegetable' Oksana Moroz, along with child and family psychologist, president of the Professional Association of Child Analytical Psychologists, Kateryna Goltzberg.

The course is available online on the interactive platform Unicorn School. Register here: https://unicorn.itstep.org/infohygiene-training-course
