The European Muay Thai Championship took place in Athens, Greece, from November 18 to 25, 2025.
There were 536 athletes from 46 countries participating in the competition.
The Ukrainian national team comprised athletes from the Youth Sports Schools No. 7 and No. 16 in Odesa.
In the «wai khru» category, the champions were Ivan Rasputny, Anastasia Yevtushenko, and Irina Ladynenko (all from Youth Sports School No. 7), while Valery Denisov (Youth Sports School No. 16) earned a silver medal.
Among athletes aged 12-13, the students from Youth Sports School No. 7 also performed well. Diana Savotina became the champion by defeating Polish athlete Sandra Kazimirska in the final, and Ivan Rasputny secured a bronze medal.
In the 14-15 age group, athletes from Youth Sports School No. 7 won two silver medals, with Kyrylo Berezovskyi and Yelyzaveta Velikova being the prize winners.
In the U-23 category, the title of European champion was claimed by Elina Perstniova (Youth Sports School No. 16).
Additionally, the athletes from Youth Sports School No. 7 excelled in the adult competitions. Mykhailo Serdiuk and Bohdan Studnev became European champions, while Nikita Kuts and Dmytro Zanin earned bronze medals.
The athletes were trained by coaches Anna Yevtushenko, Volodymyr Pishenin, Liliia Shapoval, Anna Avakova, Mykhailo Mitaki, Andrii Vakaraash (Youth Sports School No. 7), and Maksym Neledva (Youth Sports School No. 16).
